DC Smith is a family run business, founded in 1910 by David Smith. The firm is presently run by Simon Smith, great grandson of the founder, and strives to give its customers a professional service with the peace of mind that only a long established company can provide.

Employing up to 15 skilled tradesmen, many who have been with the company for a number of years, and with access to all the major trade suppliers the firm is able to give customers a vast choice of paints and wall coverings all applied to the highest standard. A full range of decorative effects can also be provided from colour washing and rag rolling, to graining and marbling.

On the Commercial side, the firm is able to function as both main and principal contractors and is also able to provide the appropriate paperwork to the relevant authorities to ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations.
