DC Smith was originally founded to serve private clients. The firm employs only quality, timeserved tradesmen many of whom served their apprenticeship with the firm, and are capable of all aspects of painting, paperhanging and decorative effects.

The firm also offers a full range of interior design services. These can range from colour scheme selection to provision of wall coverings to suit any budget. Samples of decorative effects from rag rolling, sponging, colour washing, broken colour work, marbling and graining are also available on request. 

The onus of the company is to provide quality decoration at affordable prices, performed by professional tradesmen, carried out in a quick and efficient manner.

All private work is inspected as it is ongoing by a representative of DC Smith, and upon completion the client shall be consulted to ensure their complete satisfaction.

All private work is fully guaranteed in accordance with the Scottish Decorators Federation guarantee scheme.
